An international event Business Days in Gomel will take place on 18 October, BelTA learned from the Gomel branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The international forum will bring together business people from 19 countries. The forum has proved an efficient dialogue platform for establishing direct business contacts, developing cooperation strategies, discussing business ideas, holding B2B talks and sharing best practices.
The forum will include three sessions. Participants of the first session will discuss advanced solutions for increasing the competitiveness of the region, in particular, the use of innovative technology and novel managerial solutions in the manufacturing sector, agriculture and construction. They will discuss new aspects of doing business, effective models, managerial forms and successful business practices.
Participants of the second session will discuss the role of inter-chamber cooperation and interaction of business unions and associations in regional development. The parties will discuss efficient instruments of growing businesses, entering new markets and raising investment.
The third session will focus on international logistics and management of sales.
The 16th national exhibition Business in the Regions is scheduled for 17-18 October. The exposition will be located in the regional community center and the adjacent area. The exhibition aims to showcase the latest products of companies from Gomel Oblast. It will also offer participants an opportunity to find new business partners and build new ties.
The program includes a series of free-of-charge seminars for company chiefs, heads of marketing services and lawyers. The seminars will be arranged by the Gomel branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
In 2018 this business forum gathered over 140 business people and representatives of chambers of commerce and industry from 18 countries, including Russia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Israel, China and Vietnam. Traditionally, the forum will be attended by regional and local authorities, heads of foreign diplomatic missions, chambers of commerce and industry, business associations and other officials.
The event is organized by the Gomel branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee.
